Family therapy can be a useful tool for improving your family’s relationships and dynamics. Whether you need to address occasional disagreements, frequent bickering, parenting issues, or relational disconnect, therapy provides a safe space where tough issues can be addressed.  

In Summary, techniques used in family therapy focus on improving emotional awareness, assisting with major changes within a family, helping people accept things they cannot control, and improving communication and collaboration.

At Treat Your Mind we work with each individual member of the family, looking at their values and goals and issues they have. We then come together to look at ways to acknowledge and respect each persons values and how they can be encorpated into family living. We look at how each member communicates using Transactional Analysis and work with the individuals and family to learn to communicate in a more productive way.
